Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring a Full-time (12 month, 40 hours per week ) Full Charge Bookkeeper. The position will assist and report to the Administrative Director over Finance and Human Resources.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: AR, AP, payroll, quarterly/annual reporting (LNI, Use Tax, FMLA, 941, 1099, 1096, W2), monthly billing, process payments using Square, Renweb, FACTS, Cashlinq, Subsplash, and Greater Giving, and process benefits enrollments through Ease Central.
Must be attentive to detail and able to manage multiple interruptions. Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Requires a background check and ability to safeguard confidential information. AA in Accounting and/or minimum of 5 years of experience as full charge bookkeeper necessary. Knowledge of Quickbooks is required. Applicant must be a born-again Christian, faithfully attend a local evangelical church and agree with our Statement of Faith.
